Well I played on my cities baseball team for about 10 years. We didn't travel far for games, only about an hour usually, so I guess that's kinda like little league. I had only 2 career HR's, both at the same park which is about 6 hours away so I made the most of those trips. Usually I was leadoff because I got on base all the time even though I'm extremely slow. Now I just play slo-pitch once a week.

I stopped playing baseball after 5th grade, but I just started again in this my senior year in high school. I'm currently the backup 2B, but hopefully I can get back into the groove and take over the starting job }:-) . I cant hit for any type of power, but I'm fast and a decent fielder. Kinda like Endy Chavez, only better :-D .

I guess this proves the adage:

I remember playing the intense front-yard league with my father and the neighborhood kids. Those were the days...

I'm a tennis player. Never played baseball. Just grew up loving it.

played a little college ball, but a old high school knee injury come back to haunt me as i about 50% tore my ACL in my knee...... reckon i should have went on and had the surgery but the doctor at that time, could not give me a 100% recovery rate, so i passed...... and the slight tear has definitely affected my basketball game as well,,,as in high school before the injury i could easily dunk a basketball now i cant even touch the rim,,,,so i have lost about a foot off my vertical jump :-/

I was our high school's starting catcher my junior and senior year. I went in the Navy after HS, so no college ball for me. I did play on the Base softball team on my base in California though.

(Springsteen's Glory Days playing in my head as I think back to high school :*) )

I feel like AL Bundy talking about it but I played High School Ball, American Legion, and Played for a traveling team as well.

Played centerfield batted leadoff. Made the American Legion All Star Game... Didn't try out for college ball as I wanted to have more of a normal college life... Highschool team one the state champs when I was a junior... Probably start playing in an 18 and over league this summer if my knee heals up ok
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

High school was as high as I got up the chain. B-)
Yes doctor, I am sick.

Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.

I was a pretty highly regarded prospect with a great eye and more power than anyone on my team. Then I got to old to hit of a Tee and my outfield hitting power didnt compensate for my .187AVE in little league. I followed the coaches advice and started to lean into more pitches and managed a respectable OBP besides my horrible AVE.

As a stocky short fat white boy I just didnt have the skills to take my game to the high school level.
