I've seen him on a few prospect lists - what are his chances of cracking the lineup?

How will he do?

It has been made crystal clear by the team management that he will start with Omaha this season and be called up at some point in the season. Whether that is 3 weeks or 3 months into the season all depends on how his hitting approach develops, right now the talent evaluators (mainly Baird) has said he is ready defensively but not ready for ML pitching.

It seems likely that he will follow the same path that Zach Greinke had to follow to get to KC.

Im not sure how he will do, but for KCs sake they could use a break - hopefully Teahen really finds his groove and takes over 3B soon for the Royals - they need him now. Chris Truby as their starting 3B isnt fooling anyone.
