He is the fulltime second baseman he isn't in a platoon situation, I think people overrate either David Bell or Placido Palanco effect on Utley way too much. Manuel loves this guy and Palanco has basically conceded the job to him. So aside from that and him not having many at bats why isn'y he ahead of Castillo, Uribe, Durham, and Walker, he has much more upside than any of them...

wont get enough ABs without a fulltime gig.
why don't you think he has a full time gig. i thought he was starting 2b in philly.

what about polanco - I know other people know more about this situation than I do, but from reading some of the Philly fans around here not too many are all that confident he will get much PT and even if he does, where he bats in the order will significantly affect his value.

Here's how they sorted out based upon the averaged projections of 13 fantasy sources. The 'VAL' column simply shows their relative worth based upon my own 5x5 valuation formulas. It's based upon average production in each category (for the position) and wouldn't correspond to anything like dollar values. It does however help illuminate closely grouped tiers and where production dropoffs occur. The 'ADP' column was simply their average draft pick when I ran the sheet @ 10 days ago.

SORIANO/9/250
GILES/41/115
REYES/94/69
Reyes could be more valuable than those guys you mentioned - as could Figgins.
Absolutely. Figgins could be a great pick this year. Add in all of his various elibilities and hitting in a great lineup, Figgins could be in for a very good fantasy year.

Sure there might be 2-3 guys come up this year from last year but it still puts him around 8th or so, and could be better!
I can see a .280 18-20hr 60-70rbi 100runs and 15ish SB. Where does he rank in your guys' rankings if he does that. (Which isn't much better than his last year #'s)
That's if he stays healthy through the WHOLE season for god's sake.
He also said he'll be running more this year.

Roberts went undrafted in my league. Would you guys prefer him over Durham?
