Contract status

Postby rock032 » Fri May 02, 2003 7:43 am

Can anyone tell me a sight that lists a players contract status in MLB? Rototimes used to give this valuable info, but I can't find it anymore? Knowing how long a player is signed for is key. For example, how much longer does Percival have a contract? K-Rod owners wanna know? And what about Politte? Is he now a good longterm investment or could he walk and be pitching in the NL next year?

maybe search USA Today archives... they are usually good for that sort of thing ..

As for Rototimes . the new look is kinda cool .. but I miss being able to read comments about a player ... starting 3 years back .. it would kinda tell a story if you read it back to current .. oh well. Let us know what you find .. I'll save it as a Fav.

USA Today would be a start. Maybe ESPN, The Sporting News, Fanball.com or the team websites. I'm not sure. Good luck. Speaking of contract years: Look at Gary Sheffield! .353 8HR 21 RBI 7SB. He's on FIRE!!!!
