I had the 3rd pick and got Vlad, and then was offered Beltran and Beckett for Ben Sheets and David Ortiz, which i obviously accepted. I am trying right now to trade Nomar or Carlos Guillen for a 3rd baseman. I am also fielding offers for another SP. LMK, thanks

You seem to have identified it yourself, your outfield is a monster, but you need a 3rd baseman. The two shortstops should be very useful in this regard. Your starting pitching is comparatively weak ( worth the slight weakening of sheets for beckett given what a great pickup Beltran is), though your relievers are very good (well, the closers are, the Middle Relievers i don't think help you very much and you should look to throw at least one of them into a trade for anything you can get.)

I personally would not have done the beltran deal.

Your OF is loaded, but your infield is particulary weak. Like you said trading away guillen should bring in a quality player in return. Your pitching is pretty weak as well. You dont have a legitimate number 1 starter and you will be lacking in Ks.

I'm not big on any Yankees starting pitcher. It just seems like they will just suck. Also, I would replace your RP unless you are in a league that counts holds. Hitters are good but your pitchers are as good. Also, if you can, trade Buehrle. In my opinion he's overrated. Please Rate Mine.

Thanks for the input. I have offered Beltran and Nomar in a few deals to shore up my 3B and SP. I offered a guy Nomar for Mora, and he is considering. If he accepts i'll be in good shape. I have also been shopping Jose Guillen.

I do need another starting pitcher, but i like Pavano. If he stays healthy he may win 25 games. After all, Jose COntreras won 15 games last year with a 5+ ERA and a WHIP of almost 2

I like my RP's, Madson and Tavarez will both post excellent WHIP's and ERA's without eating up too many innings. Foulke and Kolb should provide me with ample saves, although i'll always keep my eyes open for another closer
