Sporting news just said he has made a great comeback and his fast ball is at 93, what do you all think?

He should be worth a flier, since he has regained the velocity he had during his early 2003 dominance.

yea he may be worth a very late draft pick, but it almost always takes pitchers at least one full season to fully recover from tommy-john surgery.

While Runelvys is a decent prospect, he hasn't shown a great K/BB ratio yet and he's not going to get a lot of help from a bad KC team, either in run support or defense.
He has decent upside, but I don't see him as a potential superstar. Even if he reaches his upside, the Royals will hold him back and he'll just be mediocre. There are better guys to take fliers on.

it would all depend on who youd have to drop to pick him up or how it would effect your waiver position.
