Is it just me or does Oakland have a great team this year. Bellow is a possible batting order with the career OBP of the A's players.
1 Mark Kotsay - .343
2 Jason Kendall - .387
3 Eric Chavez - .354
4 Erubiel Durazo - .387
5 Eric Byrnes - .336
6 Scott Hatteberg - .359
7 Bobby Crosby - .315
8 Nick Swisher - .352(In 60AB)
9 Mark Ellis - .331 or Ginter - .344
There rotation will probably look something like
S1 Rich Harden
S2 Barry Zito
S3 Joe Blanton
S4 Dan Haren
S5 Dan Meyer
Not overpowering this year, but with a bullpen that will include most of these guys:
Justin Duchscherer, Juan Cruz, Keiichi Yabu, Ricardo Rincon Jairo Garcia, Kiko Calero, Chad Bradford, Octavio Dotel, Huston Street
Oakland will have a great year. They have power in the middle of the lineup and they have a lot of guys that can get on base and that's what matters. THeir SP is still very young but they can afford to take them out of games early with an amazing bullpen like that. To me, they have one of the best bullpens in the AL.

they wont make the playoffs unless zito returns to form. although their lineup is nice, it could be the worst in their division. Anaheim and texas are loaded with power hitters and seattle has potential. if zito returns to form and either blanton or meyer becomes a consistent # 3, they have a chance. its gonna be a strong division this year
welcome home andy
