If you could only keep one who would it be in a standard 5x5 AL only keeper 12 team 260.00
Projections from another site
Average Rbi Runs Sb Hr
Suzuki .341 60 125 35 9
Konerko .280 95 80 0 35
Ichiro $33.00
Konerko $18.00
I am leaning toward keeping Suzuki because of the higher average, runs and sbs. Sbs are huge. Yes $15 could buy me some steals and homeruns. And yes Konerko is a power corner guy. harder to fill. But Suzukis high average allows me to grab a player later that may hit for power but not for a great average.Would like your imput.

I think this is a no-brainer. I would take Ichiro in a second. He's a top 15 fantasy player.
Despite the fine year Konerko had last year, I still don't trust him. I can't get his 2003 year out of my head. I think he will miss the bats of Maggs, Lee, and Thomas (part of the year) to protect him.
Go get Ichiro

I think you have to take Ichiro. Although it is a large price to pay it is worth it. The increased protection in the lineup should allow him to score more runs which should offset any dip in AvG. Although unlikely, Ichiro is one of the only players to have any chance at hitting .400 and having him in that season would give you a big advantage in your league.
The chance at 40 HR's for a $15 player is tempting, but I am not sold on Konerko.

With the losses of Lee and Ordonez, Konerko isn't as protected in the line-up as he used to be. Besides, Ichiro is one of the best fantasy players, period.

definitely Ichiro. Plus, you said that it was hard to find a power corner infielder. Unless they are all being kept (I can't say for sure), I dont' think that that type of player should be that hard to find.
Leyland said, "We thought we were getting a hell of a player, but Neifi simply did not perform well."
really?
