Please Help with My Team

Below is my roster that I drafted last night in a 12 team 5x5 H2H league. The number to the right is the round I drafted them in. It was a snake draft and I had the 1st overall pick. Should I try and trade Kearns or Crisp for a decent pitcher? What else can I do to improve the team?

it would seem you have a well balanced team... though i would either try for an ace or one more bat so that you can put mark in at the infield

Are you speaking of Mark Teixeira? If so what difference does it make if he starts at DH or in the infield?

it makes a big difference....

if he's in the infield you can have 3 big bats and then a sneaky hidalgo or preston wilson in there 2

I think it's a pretty balanced team but your pitching is dependant on some young guys fulfilling potential. Although turning down Teix with the last pick of round 2 would have been very tough, grabbing 2 1Bs with your top two picks may end up hurting you. But it really depends on who was still on the board. Other than them though, your IF could use a bit of improvement. Your RP looks very strong and you have some good sleeper SPs.

As for Kearns or Crisp, I can't see you getting much for them. As long as your guys play like they can you should at least be a contender for the playoffs.

Wow, you got some incredible values in that draft. I like how you got a ton of production with your first two picks and then managed to fill steals with your third round pick too. Your offense looks pretty good as you should win steals and perform very well in the others. Getting Oliver Perez in round 6 was a great pick. That guy should go a lot earlier. Harden could easily become a top fantasy pitcher. Vazquez may rebound too but even if he doesnt return to form it was still a good value, and you shouldnt have been able to get a pitcher as solid as Radke in round 13.

I wouldnt trade Crisp as he could be a potential 15-30 guy and HR-SB guys are invaluable in fantasy leagues. I guess your pitching could use some less questionable guys but it isnt a pressing need. Im also surprised that you were able to get two of the top 5 relievers.
