What you say about Hudson makes sense but here's my opinion. I think that very good pitchers who go from the AL to the NL tend to have very good seasons because they have one less hitter to face. That's just my opinion and i suppose that I could be wrong because I haven't done the statistics on it but I think Hudson is in for a good year or two.

Oh, I think he'll be good, but not as good as the 3 he is asking about ;-)
