10 Team – 5X5 Roto - $115 entry – Sportsline League

I’m co-commissioner of a league my buddy and I are running over at CBS Sportsline.com. We play in their Diamond and Platinum Challenge league’s over there each year and this year are putting together a separate private league.

We started the league today (03/04/05) and thus far have 3 people paid and 3 more confirmed that they will pay and take a spot today. So there are essentially 4 slots available and I expect this to fill up within the next day or two.

We are only looking for SOLID and ACTIVE players which is why we are running it as a prize league. Prizes will be awarded to the top three positions.

1st Place = $500
2nd Place = $300
3rd Place = $200

We intend to use a slow live draft as the last slow live we participated in worked out really well and only took about 7 days to complete with 12 teams. This will likely start within a day or so of the league being full and we don’t intend to put a time limit on your picks. Essentially, you need to be the kind of player who can check your computer 2-3 times throughout the day to make sure you don’t hold it up too much. Again, if you’re not this kind of player, we would prefer you to take your play elsewhere.

Basic Rulles are as follows:
5X5 Standard Roto Style Scoring
Both AL and NL Players
10 Teams
Daily Transactions but Weekly Scoring Periods (best method, we find)
23 Active Positions, 2 Bench Positions, No D/L slots.
Min AB = 3950
Min IP = 900
No Maximums

To clarify above as some have asked...

This is a weekly transaction league... you can make daily pickups, trades, etc.. but you are setting your lineup for the week....

This game is operating VERY similiar to CBS's Gold/Platinum/Diamond league's, etc.
