For You Guy's Depressed With Wade Miller

Postby YankFan51 » Thu May 01, 2003 9:04 pm

Just to show you he's got trade value and not droppable by no means, I got Bret Boone straight up for him. I filled a very big hole with a stud for Miller. Try shopping him if you really think he won't heat up. I still he will, but I'm thrilled with Booney.

You think Jose Vidro would be worth Miller if I have literally no one at second in one of my leagues?

They'd have to be aware of Miller's 12 in a row last year, and need some pitching.

Well, the guy I traded with has Aaron Boone on the bench, a capable 2B starter. The guy trading Vidro would need to have a really good replacement.

If you can get Vidro for Miller, I'd go for it. But if Hairston is still available, he's a good pick, assuming you might not have deep pitching. I still think Wade will have a good year, while guys like Loaiza will fall back to earth. We're only 1/5 of the way through, guys, be patient.
