Biggest need? WHIR

Postby smoothcats13 » Sun Jun 03, 2007 1:16 pm

I have fallen into 5 closers and now I am looking to make a trade or two to improve my team. Problem is, I don't know what my biggest need is. Where do I need to improve the most and who should I be targeting?

Yahoo 5x5, roto league with 5 keepers per year.

I think you're weakest point is at first base. Lance Berkman is having a terrible year. I would trade him to get a better first baseman. You could probably go for Prince Fielder. He's doing pretty well. Now, you help me

you could use a starter.. target a second tier starter on a team struggling for saves.. thats a place to start anyway

I think if you have that many closers you could always use another starter so maybe move one for a high K closer. I think you should either move or drop Dejesus for a SP as well. You could probably use a little more speed but Dunn and Braun and others do provide a bit of that of course.

If there is a decent SP on the wire, Id drop DeJesus...and take a chance on any SP out there that might give you ks and low WHIP

OR, Id try and move a closer for a SP upgarde. I think Berkman will be ok, but you could also look to upgrade there

You probably need another starter. I"d also try getting a more reliable closer. Targeting Fielder would be good because it is a keeper league.
