Need minor league call up help

Postby firemanx » Thu May 24, 2007 7:21 pm

Ok i have the #1 waiver priority in my deep keeper league. I already have Homer Bailey on my roster, but him and Webb are currently the only pitchers who are worthy of being kept on my team. On offense i have some players, but Braun has the possibility to be a real stud 3B , and replace Glaus on my current roster. So should i go after Braun or Gallardo.

10 team league 25 man rosters
9x9 league with
H,R,SB,HR,RBI. E, AVG, ops
W, SV, K, WHIP, ERA,CG, HLD, IP

my current roster:
C- Jojima
1b- Berkman
2b - weekes/freel
3b - tehan/glaus
ss - Jeter
IF - Miguel Tejada
OF - Soriano
OF - Dunn
OF - Cuddyer
OF - Reggie Willits/Jack Cust
util - Jim Thome

Bench - Ryan Church, Adam Lind
DL - Josh Hamilton

SP - Brandon Webb, Curt Schilling, Dave Bush, Wandy Rodriguez, Chuck James, Javy Vazquez,

RP - Eric Gagne, Soloman Torres, Dan Wheeler, Manny Corpas

NA - Andrew Miller and Homer Bailey

Well then there's no point in picking up Braun as you wouldn't keep him over Glaus or Teahen for that matter. Your pitching is not that strong so Gallardo would be a better option but I'd be inclined to hang onto your no. 1 priority for now.

Hang on to #1 for who? Gallardo from what i have heard was a top 3 SP prospect going into this season. I have Bailey, and Hughes is on anothers roster. What or who should i be waiting for?

I would keep Gallardo. I think he is the best pitcher that's going to be called up this season or next for that matter. Braun will be great but you really want to keep Glaus even though he is on in years you should still get a couple of more quality years out of him and you need the offensive help more. Thanks for the help on mine.

Anyone else have some advice:

not just a fantasy impact this yr, but for awhile. It needs to be a player that will end up sometime this yr. Who would you wait on the #1 waiver this yr to be added to the yahoo database
