1. The Twins are using BRAIN DUENSING as their 3rd SP over Slowey and Baker? Zomgz 2. And same game of that series, the Yankees are using Phil Hughes @ Yankee Stadium (instead of slotting him in Game 2) in what could be a crucial game?

Hughes vs LHB 2010: 91 IP, 17 HR Hughes vs RHB 2010: 85 IP, 8 HR
The reason is that they'd rather Pettitte start 2 games than Hughes especially against the Twins who have dangerous lefties like Mauer, so the Yankees are throwing lefties in 4 of the 5 games of the series.

So they're basically throwing one to get 4 LHP starts in? Makes sense.
No wonder CC was mediocre today, 3 of his last 4 starts were 110+ pitches (the other was 103).
The Braves have as their 4th SP a guy that's thrown 15 big league innings? Rollin' the dice

if i was dusty i would've saved travis wood to start in one of the games. he's been pretty much money since coming up, it reminds me of phillies not starting happ last year.

And how deep are they going to let him pitch tomorrow? Last start was 114 pitches Can't let G.Mota or someone similar pitch decisive innings

C.J Wilson vs James Shields should be one of the most interesting games of this round. How much do either of them have left? Wilson has pitched 130+ more innings then last year, and Shields has been absolutely destroyed over the last month, by craptastic SEA, KC and BAL Washington seems to have looked after Wilson a little, his last two games were 85 and 82 pitches.
