2.) Polanco (one of the bets two-hole hitters in the game, and Leyland loves him)

5.) Ordonez (these middle three are really hard to call, could be the exact opposite actually)

7.) Renteria
8.) Pudge Rodriguez
9.) Jacque Jones (with Thames getting the lefty-starts in LF)

Rotation is going to be:
Verlander, Bonderman, Willis, Rogers (yes, he signed a one year deal), and Nate Robertson.

Re-god-damn-diculous.... I honestly don't care if we are renting our lineup for a run in the next couple of years. Giving up Miller and Maybin hurts our prospects, a lot. But this is just too huge to pass up, even if it is just for a year or two.

As for Rabelo... a very servicable backup catcher. Decent hitter, even in the clutch, and average defensively.

I definitely would not expect Porcello to be included in this trade.

In addition to Cameron Maybin, Andrew Miller and Mike Rabelo, the Marlins will get three right-handers in the Miguel Cabrera-Dontrelle Willis trade: Dallas Trahern, Eulogio De La Cruz and Burke Badenhop.

Excluding Rick Porcello, who was ineligible to be traded, Trahern and De La Cruz were the Tigers' top remaining pitching prospects. Trahern is a future middle-of-the-rotation starter, while De La Cruz profiles as a setup man or maybe a closer. Badenhop, like Trahern, is a sinkerballer with a modest strikeout rate. He has a chance to stick as a starter, but he's not quite as good of a bet.

Well, MCAB is not a good 3B and belongs at 1B. I'd keep Guillen for his bat and put him on 3B. He has got to be better than MCab who looks totally clumbsy and out of place at the hot corner. Inge is too expensive to be a backup.

Anyways, good move for the Tigers. They have a bunch of young pitching but their offense is getting older and older. Getting a 24 year old stud should certainly help that.

They went with three left handers plenty of times the past couple years when they still had Maroth. Three lefties actually makes some sense in the central division because every stud hitter on the other teams in the division bats lefty:

As a Tiger fan I'm thrilled with this trade. MCab for at least 2 years and Illitch has shown the ability to offer big $ when his contract is up. The lineup is sick and the rotation got better!!
