Aargh I really want to pick him up, but I already have Upton at 2nd. I'm not sure if he'll keep this up, but he's never been this good before, so I'm thinking this year could be his career year, although he's already sorta up in those years. Guys in my league are sleeping and he's just sitting there though.

I feel similarly. I have Giles at 2B and can't justify dropping him or anyone else for Kaz Mat. But I want deperately to find a way to pick him up. I think the SB's are for real. He's been running (and hitting) ever since he got to Colorado last year. If he hadn't missed most of the season I think he'd be among the MLB leaders in SB's right now.

I have Roberts at 2nd, so I'm not gonna use him, but I picked him up anyway because steals are pretty valuable in my points league and he might be good trade bait if he continues producing.

I am considering dropping the now nearly worthless Kinsler for him.

I've kept my eye on Kaz for a long time now. I just dropped Kouzmanoff for him. Kaz can hit for avg and steal a ton of bags. He'll score his runs with helton and holliday hitting behind him. I think if Kaz stays injury free, he'll be noted as one of the best WW pick outs at the end of the year. IMO.

since he's back from injury, is he the every day starter, or is he in a platoon? Also, if he's starting daily, is he leading off consistently, or does it depend on the handedness of the pitcher?

Kaz is the everyday second baseman but will get the ocassional day off. Taveras is the leadoff guy with Kaz slotted in the second hole. If he can stay healthy, he should be great source of runs, steals and should hit for a good average. Clearly an excellent pick up if you need a top of the order guy.
