Would you consider all of these must adds at this point? I already own Foltynewicz and drafted Shipley in our rookie draft with Mark Appel and Sean Manaea. Shipley, Appel and Manaea are all zero points through 2017.

This is the rest of my farm system anyone you would bump at this point? They either cost me zero, one or two points to keep.

OF- Josh Bell PIT- 0 points through 2015
SS- Carlos Correa HOU - 0 points through 2016
3B/OF- Joey Gallo TEX - 0 points through 2016
C- Gary Sanchez NYY

SS- Garin Cecchini BOS
OF- Gregory Polanco PIT
1B/OF- Jonathan Singleton HOU
3B- Nolan Arenado COL
3B- Cody Asche PHI
SS/3B- Xander Bogaerts BOS

SP- Trevor Bauer CLE - 0 points through 2015
SP- Lucas Giolito WAS - 0 points through 2016
SP- Mark Appel HOU - 0 points through 2017
SP- Braden Shipley ARI - 0 points through 2017
SP- Sean Manaea KC - 0 points through 2017
SP- Brett Oberholtzer HOU

I have no idea what" zero points through 2017" means. The players on my list will likely be showing up on a lot of Top 100 lists in the coming months. Most of them are pitchers and thus their prospect status tenuous, at best.

It's a points based keeper system.

1. Each team is allotted a total of 40 keeper points to be spent on their keepers. A team may keep any number of players from season to season as long as they do not exceed the 40 allotted draft points. Point values are assigned by qualifying level as follows:

• MLB Players - 3 points each
• Players classified as "AAA" - 2 points each
• Players classified as "A" - 1 point each
• Players classified as “Rookie Contract” – 0 points each

So the 8 players are all zero points toward my 40 point keeper value until that yr. Then they will be worth either one, two or three points depending how much they have played in the majors. Guys who have yet to make the majors but are not under the "rookie contract" are worth 1. Guys who have made the majors but are under the minor league limits are worth 2. Then players over the minor league limits are MLB players.

Players qualify for the minor league (also known as "farm") roster as follows:

• If a hitter, the player must have no more than 500 MLB appearances and no more than 1000 MLB at-bats.

• If a pitcher, the player must have no more than 100 MLB appearances and no more than 50 MLB starts.

Once again, you've lost me. The MLB definition of rookie status is 50 total IP or 135 total AB. Any other numbers are completely arbitrary.

Sorry to come across as testy last week, I was having a bad day. If your league is mixed and has less than 20 teams, these players are fringe prospects but they should be owned in 12 team AL or NL only Ultra roto leagues.

If you dig a little deeper in the Twins system (past Stewart and Berrios) you will find Lewis Thorpe. This Aussie turns 18 next month and he's getting mentioned by everyone (BA, Sickels, Law off the top of my head) as an up and comer in the Twins system.

Sickels grades him a B minus but a 17 year old has plenty of time to improve his standing.
