Who's it gonna be?

Postby DrunkenDragon » Fri Oct 18, 2013 11:00 am

First of all we really need more reds fans on here but who's gonna replace dusty? The top five names I've heard are
1. Bryan Price
2. Jim Riggleman
3. Mike Gallego
4. Jose Oquendo
5. Barry Larkin

The top five guys I would like to see

1. Barry Larkin
2. Rick Sweet
3. Jose Oquendo
4. Dave Martinez
5. Bryan Price.

Jim Riggleman was the name I heard most often. I don't think the Reds will go with a first time manager. This team was set up to win now and the window is closing. They are going to want some one who has managed before.

I'm not 100% sure on that one. I just read on mlbtr that the Reds are shopping Phillips. That makes me believe they think they won't be winning next season and are going to go with a newer manager and re-up Bruce long term. If they do hire Riggleman I hope they bring in someone such as Corky to run the team down in louisville.
