Hamels for Hanley - WHIR

Postby AdamB215 » Tue Jun 25, 2013 4:15 pm

12 team 5x5 H2H league, I have pretty stacked pitching and could use an upgrade at SS. What do you think? Part of the problem is that the deal is with my main rival in the league, and this would potentially give him pitching that could match mine. Teams are below

Thanks, WHIR 100%

Pos: Mine // His
C: VMart // Santana
1B: Goldy // Prince
2B: Cano // Zobrist
3B: Zimm // Longoria
SS: Alcides // Reyes
OF: Jones // Choo
OF: Puig // Bruce
OF: Cruz // Craig
UT: Hamilton // Hanley
BN: Leonys // Lind
BN: X // Rendon
DL: Kemp // Braun
DL: Crawford // Pineda
SP1: Wainwright // Kershaw
SP2: Scherzer // Verlander
SP3: Harvey // Shields
SP4: Minor // Colon
SP5: Hamels // Porcello
RP: Frieri // Holland
RP: Parnell // Benoit
BN: Milone // Cashner
BN: Garza // Griffin
BN: Wheeler // Kyle Gibson
BN: Edwin // X
DL: X // Pineda

I would make that trade since you have wheeler who can step in and replace Hamels. Hanley has looked pretty good since coming back from the dl.

I'd do it. He has some heavy hitters so you having Hanley really stacks your favor here.

Yes, I would make this trade. Both of you have very strong offences, but I think your only weakness is SS. I think this trade makes your offence slightly better than his. You also have the depth to lose Hamels. Thanks for help on mine.

I would make this trade, you could use the bat to match his hitting and your pitching is still better even after dealing Hamels.

Considering the guys you have to replace Hamels, I'd make the move to get Hanley.

Help please
