I'm in an 8-team ESPN H2H points league with our draft coming up in a few days. We start a normal MLB lineup + 2 util, 5 SP, 2 RP. My league's points system is very different from others (lots of extra points categories, especially for pitchers' bonuses) and while looking at ESPN's projections for my league, there are several players that jumped out at me. And comparing these players to their ADP, I don't really know if it's worth jumping up as high as our projected points suggest. Of this list, which, if any, would you draft significantly above ADP based on my league's points projections?? (And as always, leave a link and I'll help with yours!)
-Jose Bautista, projected 7th highest points in league, ADP 17
-Adrian Beltre, proj. 8th, ADP 23
-Edwin Encarnacion, proj. 9th, ADP 30
-Billy Butler, proj. 12th, ADP 44
-Mark Teixeira, proj. 17th, ADP 52
-James Shields, proj. 19, ADP 84
-Ben Zobrist, proj. 24, ADP 62
-Martin Prado, proj. 28, ADP 108
And just to show how crazy our scoring is, Mike Trout is projected to be our league's 30th highest scorer this year...so much for me taking him 1st in our first year of a keeper league.
