Dynasty League Trade

Postby avswsop91 » Thu Jan 03, 2013 7:05 pm

12 Team Dynasty, Head-to-Head Category League (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, Util, 7 P) (6x6 league (QS & OPS))

Been Offered:
I Give: Curtis Granderson
I Get: Austin Jackson and Chase Headley

My Roster:
C – Willin Rosario, Travis d'Arnaud
1B – Eric Hosmer, Anthony Rizzo
2B – Ben Zobrist
3B – Evan Longori, Mike Olt
SS – Hanley Ramirez
OF –Curtis Granderson, Jay Bruce, Jason Heyward, Corey Hart, Shane Victorino
SP – Cliff Lee, R.A. Dickey, Mat Latos, James McDonald, Jeff Samardzija, Jonathon Niese, Brett Anderson, Tyler Skaggs, Danny Hultzen, Jake Odorizzi, Zack Wheeler, Jacob Turner

I’m a rebuilding team that is playing for the furture. Should I accept this deal? Does adding the depth here help my team? Or should I just stick with the stud in Granderson.

I think you should ask for someone else besides Headley to get back along with Jackson.
You're pretty much set at 3B, I would try to get the other owner to give you a proven SP + Jackson for Grandy

That's an okay deal, but I think that Granderson should net you a little more.

I agree with Element. Not a bad deal, but I'd probably rather just stick with Granderson. If you move him, he should get you a bit more.

SoCal is right Headley's value would be diminshed on your team because you are already pretty set at 3B. Therefore while the trade itself in value isnt bad, it doesnt really make sense for your team.

Also, I don't think your team is that bad that you should be playing for the future.

Are any of the cats related to RPs like Saves and do you start any RPs or do you just have all SP cats and start 7 starting pitchers?

As those above have said, I'd want a bit more for Grandy and although Headley isn't bad, I too would want more or at least at a position you need help with.

I also agree that in a 12 team league, that with a little luck, you are ready to compete NOW for the championship.
