Should I Buy Low on Votto?

He may not be back until the end of the month, but should I try to acquire him now? I was offered his Kornerko for my Chris Sale, but wonder if I should counter with Sale for his Joey Votto, maybe through him Brandon Belt as well. Thoughts?

I'm in a 12-team auction-style keeper league, standard stats + Holds/OBP. Any help would be much appreciated! WHIR as always!

If you have a chance this year, I'd take Konerko. If it is about next year, go with Votto.

Votto may be back by the end of the month, and then may not play everyday (5x / week), especially if Todd Frazier keeps hitting and the Reds clinch a division title.

Where are you at in the standings?
If youre completely out of the playoff picture or definitely in, then make a move for Votto.
If youre on the cusp of contention and want to go for it, trading for Votto is not going to be a good idea. By the time he comes back youll likely be out of it.

Last week I was able to sell Votto for Beltre... Now that he is closer to returning I dont know what it would cost for him. I guess it depends on the the guy who owns Votto.
