Trading for King Felix. ***WHIR***

So I'm in need of pitching, especially with Morrow's injury. A guy in my league proposed Felix and Volquex for Trumbo and Stubbs, which at first glance looks great for me. BUT, Trumbo carries huge keeper value, being keeper eligible in exchange for a 30th rnd pick. In addition, I don't think my lineup can afford a net -2 for hitters. So I'm looking ot counter by adding a SP onto Trumbo and Stubbs, in exchange for a hitter back from him.

I'm pushing for him to throw in another pitcher rather than dropping somebody. I'm trying to get him to go Volquez still and then it's like the original trade, plus Youk for Buehrle. If he doesn't bite on that what other suggeestions does the Cafe have? ************

As far as your question.....if you need SP help then this could work for you....Trumbo is red hot this year and this being a Keeper league he carries a ton of value for years to come. (I think he would be the best guy in the deal)....now, with that being said King Felix and Volquez are both struggling this year with some decent games in between but both SP's are hard to pass up on if they get their act together.

You are giving up Trumbo basically for this deal as Stubbs can be good but he will be hitting the injury bug and most likely the DL all season long....I own him in a league and have dropped him since there are question tags on him all season long....in fact looking at my few leagues he has been dropped and sitting on the WW in most of them so....

I would definately try getting Hosmer in the deal though if you can for Buehrle.....I think Hosmer will wake up soon and if not he will one of these days but if you can get a guy like Hosmer and throw in a guy like Buehrle for him then you do that everytime and twice on Sunday...lol

Remember Trumbo's value as a 30th round keeper. Keepers are assigned value based on the round they were drafted in for this league, so it makes things much less cut and dry.
