A team that is possibly out of the playoff hunt wants Ethier and is willing to give me Freddy Freeman. Since Ethier is ranked higher, I said we should make this. 2 for 2. Looking at our rosters below, which second player should I include and which should I askcfor from him? Obviously I can ask for a better second player than I am giving up... I would do this trade only if it helped my HR and improved me for the playoffs, possibly at RP or SP.

First off, how in the hell do you have that kind of team in a 12 team league? Your team is stacked, especially your pitching staff. So I dont think you need any upgrade in pitching.

Anyways, back to the question. I would DEFINITELY make this trade. Freddie Freeman is an awesome keeper pick, and could help your team in power categories down the stretch. If you're willing to wait for Beltre to get off the DL, I would recommend something like your Ethier and Bonifacio for his Freeman and Beltre. Or your Ethier and Bonifacio, for his Freeman and Pence. If you want another pitcher, I would target Scherzer.

I'd do this deal 1 for 1 pretty much and take Freeman who is the better keeper player in my mind. With your roster though, neither are really keeper types.

If you can get something added on though, go for it. Ask for Romero and give Harrison.
