OK, so I was offered his Hiroki Kuroda for my Brian Fuentes. It is a H2H, keeper league (we keep 12), 5x5, max of 50 moves. What do you think?

Thanks!
Had the highest ERA and WHIP last week in the league and the most saves.
Always more closers available on the WW. That's why I'm questioning.

on the surface I would say no, what types of closers are available on the waiver wire? wait a couple weeks and you might be able to get Kurodo off the WW too, haha

Last night when I looked on the WW, there were only four guys who had recorded a save that were unowned. I would say none of them were really ownable for the purposes of being a closer.
Thanks for the response. I'm looking for a consistent starter that I can rely on. I've got a lot of risky SP on my team. Kuroda seems like a safe bet, but maybe not as good as I am looking for.

I say no as well. Fuentes is worth more than Kuroda and your other closers are shaky. Fuentes on that team will post good numbers for saves if you can put up with a 4.00 ERA from a closer but you could get more than Kuroda. Stay put.

Thanks for the help in my thread!
Im going to have to concur with everybody else. Fuentes > Kuroda. Fuentes will post decent numbers, and will probably be your number one closer.
