Jose Guillen for Nelson Cruz? WHIR!!!

We play a LF, CF, RF plus an OF. I want to get another starting outfielder.

My outfielders:
Braun
Chris Young
Nady
OF: Daniel Murphy
Bench: Ryan Church, Francouer, Jose Guillen, Mark Teahen (1B, 3B, LF, RF eligible)

Is it fair to offer Jose Guillen for Nelson Cruz? If not, any other offer look better, or is it worth going after him?

Doesn't hurt to offer it as a starter but I don't think that will get it done. Guillen has been a quietly solid contributor but the upside of Cruz should be regarded pretty highly.

im all for going after nelson cruz. i see a big year out of him. but im guessing jose guillen alone wont be enough to get him. try it and see what happens but odds are its gunna take a little more.

church could have a great year if he stays healthy. also where is he batting this year? he is still with the mets, yeah?

i would offer that trade, but it isnt "fair." but IMO its up to the other team to send a reject offer with a abusive message to discourage unfair trade proposals.

not seeing the other teams OFs, how do you stack up? is this trade necessary right now? is their anybody on the WW with good upside??

yeah, i need 4 OFs. i'm hoping church has a great year... he's batting 2nd in mets line-up. i'm also hoping francouer bounces back; he's having a nice spring.

his outfielders are:
conor jackson, sizemore, granderson, cruz, with hermida on the bench.

i don't need to trade, but i wanted cruz, so i thought it would be better to go for him now. not sure if i really need him though, but you know... the grass is always greener.

If I were you I would check the WW for someone like a Lind, Dukes, Choo, Rasmus, etc.
