Soto and Quentin are bargains if you get to keep them at those prices.

Thanks for your advice on my Markakis deal.

Santana and Quentin. I would rather have a SP than a C. Too many times has a catcher had a great year only to follow it up with a sub par performance. ie: McCann and Russell Martin. Santana is still young and has the ability to be a top notch SP and at $5 you are hardly taking a gamble on him.

Quentin at $7 is definitely a lock.

The last spot comes down to Soto, Ervin, Greinke or Gallardo. I think I would go with Ervin, as he improved heaps last season especially with his control and managing his home/away splits which were atrocious the previous year. I think Gallardo would be a close 2nd, as I really see him developing into a great pitcher, but he just hasn't thrown all that many innings in the bigs yet to instill that sort of confidence.

Santana at $5 is nice and so is Quentin at $7. Gallardo is the only other one that is close.

Quentin + Soto

I think Soto will go for more money in the re-auction than the other guys you're considering.

I like Ervin Santana quite a bit, but mak is correct - and I'd add that I that I think Soto's actual value (not just his perceived value) will exceed Ervin's.
