Leaving A Link---doing it wrong????

Why when I leave a link to my question it shows up in black not blue? So he or she can't just click on my link to go there.
This is what I do.
I highlight my link in the URL box and I select--select all. Then when I paste it to my answer and it comes up black.
What am I doing wrong?

just copy and paste your url in the thread, and it will show up automatically.
