On a weekend waylaid by weather, we are reminded that it’s important to check the forecast when streaming early in the year. Luckily, the people in St. Petersburg are sensible and built a dome, although that’s the only part they got right. It may have been better if the game were rained out, since Wade Davis got hit around, giving up home runs to a couple Orioles hitting below the Mendoza line (Mark Reynolds and Jake Fox). Jake Arrieta is currently trying to turn the ship around for us, but first Davis line:

This week’s streamers:
Monday
Joel Pineiro (LAA) @ OAK – 15%
Pineiro should be a great streaming option for Monday. He got a late start to his season due to some injury troubles, but he was worth the wait. He’s 2-0 in three starts, with a 1.33 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP. He’s never going to impress you with his strikeout numbers, but that’s not as important when your “one” pitcher is making seven starts a week. His opponent on Monday is ranked 25th in batting average and 28th in runs, sow ith the way he’s pitching, Pinero shouldn’t have any problems quelling an offense of that caliber.
Other Options: Homer Bailey vs CHC, Scott Baker @ SEA.
Tuesday: Jason Vargas (SEA) vs MIN – 4%
Wednesday: Doug Fister (SEA) vs LAA – 3%
