Bud Norris let me down on Saturday, falling one strikeout short of my over/under of 10. Even so, that’s a hearty amount of strikeouts for a streamer to contribute, and he didn’t hurt us too badly in the other categories. Norris allowed three runs in the second inning, but nothing during the rest of his outing as he turned in a solid stream after looking dicey early.
We’re going to keep it short on this Mother’s Day version of Streaming Sleepers so you can enjoy the rest of your day. Enjoy some pink bats and perhaps brunch and baseball. Monday is the shallowest streaming day we’ve had thus far, but we have to pick someone, so come on down…
Travis Wood (CIN) @ HOU – 17%
Wood gets the nod solely because he’s the least bad of all the options. He’s had a rough start to the season, allowing six runs or more in three games. Things started to look up for him in his last start, where he was solid, yet unspectacular against these same Astros. He walked too many batters for my liking, but hopefully he can locate better Monday. If I didn’t have to pick someone I would likely stay away, so just be aware.
